Fuses

The following varieties of fuses can be offered against the requirements:

CT / PT Range :

Fusing range :	as per IEC 282-1 / BSEN282-1/ equivalent std/ specs of custom designed.

The CT / PT fuses of our range shall comprise with close matched fusing & non fusing characteristics, to offer a close & finer protection for the equipment and/ or installations. Standard fusing curves start with 1.5In (In- normal rating current) and multiple currents thereof, but any closer matching to the equipment characteristics can be supplied as well.

Application:
The CT/ PT fuses are applicable in use as incomer units at the switch fuse units in the front end of the installation. The CT/ PT range of fuses can also be offered in oil filled categories if needed.

The HV fuse range (BSHV) is offered in 3 different body sizes, viz., 2inch (50.8mm), 2.5inch(63.5mm) & 3inch(76.2mm) with current ranges up to 40A (2inch), 63A(2.5inch), 100A(3inch) & varying fixing distances as called in by the standard.
Standard fusing curves start with 1.8In and multiple currents thereof, but any closer matching to the equipment characteristics can be supplied as well. The HV range of fuses can also be offered in any special characteristics if needed. Consult the factory for your requirements of technical characteristics and the type references offered.

Application:
These fuses are applicable in use as incomer units at the switch fuse units in the front end of the installation on HV fuse gear/ switchgear side/ line transmissions. The HV BS range of fuses can also be offered in varying time current/ fusing characteristics if needed.

LV Range of fuses (LVBS type) :

Fusing range :	as per IEC 269-1 / BSEN269-1/ IS: 13703 Pt.2/ sec.1

The LV fuse range (BSLV) is offered in varying different body sizes, and in multiple current ratings from 2A until 400A @ 240/ 415Volts applications.

Standard fusing curves start with 1.25In (In- normal current), and multiple currents thereof. The LV range of fuses can be offered in any special tag / fixing sizes of interest.

Applications:

The LV fuses finds application in independent installations or as well in control panel applications. Can be used in bare or closed environment (with applicable derating) or in switch fuse units as necessary.

The LV fuse range DIN type (BSLV-DIN) is offered in varying different body sizes, and in multiple current ratings from 6A until 400A @ 240/ 415Volts application.
